I am BACK!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hello to all of my 3 readers, I have returned to ruffle your feathers and make you question my sanity.

Life has gotten in the way and forced me to think more locally (Very locally) so one of the first casualties was my blog. Now I am sitting on the other side of the state from my lovey and family trying to find work...but that will be another blog post. So.....ya ready for today's rant? "I wrote a little song about it. Wanna hear it here it go."

FUCK YOU NON SMOKERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am officially sick and tired of self righteous non smokers treating me like a second class citizen because of my habit. You have forced us all outside to smoke in the first place but we were too close for you when the weather got bad so you made another law. Then you made a law that says we can't smoke and a bar. Another that banned flavored (ie. clove, vanilla, etc) cigarettes. To top it all off you have taxed them so much that we are now forced to pay as much as $10 a pack in some places (and I use to laugh at the Canadians).

Smokers now even have a harder time finding jobs because employers are allowed to discriminate against smokers. Don't believe me? Here is a line from an actual job listing in the Tacoma, WA area:
This site has a strict no smoking policy. If you are a smoker don't waste our time applying.
Now let's change the wording a little here and see if it is discrimination.
This site has a strict no coloreds policy. If you are a negro don't waste our time applying.

Get the picture. What I do in my time is my business as long as it is legal. So what If I smell like smoke. The smell CAN'T HURT YOU. I deal daily with being bitched at for my smoking even though I smoke outdoors down wind from any doors or windows and away from children yet still I catch hell. I have even been fired from a job because because I smoked, by a woman with perfume so heavy that it made me light headed.

Bottom line is that smoking is legal. I have every right to smoke if I chose to do so. Yes you have a right to say I can't do it IN you place of business but you don't have a right to fire me because I do it in my home on my own time. I respect you as a non smoker it is time for you to respect the fact that I do smoke. I don't make faces and give you hell for farting or wearing half a can of body spray so don't give me hell that I smell like smoke. quit passing laws to force us to quit and pitch in a hand helping us to quit. If you really want less smokers in the world then simply push the government to provide free ways to help smokers quit. But THAT will never happen because too much money is made from the taxes. Hell, the fact that I smoke helps to pay for your kid to get an eduction. Where do you think those tax dollars go?

Get off your moral high horses and help to fix the problem rather than making it worse by making us lepers. And trust me the last thing any of you want is 1 million pissed off smokers having nic-fitting because you have made it impossible for them to have a cigarette.
